Came to the Picture House on Wednesday and saw the 8.15 showing of An Education, a film I had been anticipating due to the buzz Carey Mulligan was getting from almost every critic. A packed showing we saw as well, could only spot 1 or 2 free seats...

Really appreciate your comments, thank you. 3D seems to going well, although the expensive glasses are proving a bit of a nightmare. We have 8 broken pairs already and they are £35 each.

An Education

Came to the Picture House on Wednesday and saw the 8.15 showing of An Education, a film I had been anticipating due to the buzz Carey Mulligan was getting from almost every critic. A packed showing we saw as well, could only spot 1 or 2 free seats, we of course sat in the front row of that screen as I like having the extra leg room that the front row gives you and the stage gives it that extra distance from you so there's no neck straining.

CREATION

We await Jane's usual quality review but suffice to say this was not a film to call" enjoyable"
The most sparsely populated audience of the 15 films seen this year-just 12 people.
As usual we took supper across the road in the Luna which was also sparsely populated.
"Excellent" said one of us ( the fervent practising Christian).
" Confusing" said the non church goer.
We agreed to differ.
